Insurance Coverage Packages makes money, and you are entitled to know how. This page explains our business model, the relationships we maintain with carriers and advisors, and the ways compensation can shape what you see on this site.
Please read it before you rely on anything here. Understanding who pays us is part of understanding which parts of this site you should trust most.
We are an independent comparison and introduction service. We are not a carrier, and we do not underwrite, issue, or service policies.
Our part in the process is to help you compare what is available and to put you in front of a licensed party that can quote and bind coverage. We do not extend coverage, collect money for it, or make the decision to write a policy.
Compensation arrives in two forms, and both are worth understanding.
When a request you send results in a policy, the carrier or agency that wrote it may pay us a commission. The carrier pays that commission out of its own budget, which is why the price you are quoted is the same whether you arrive through us or go straight to the carrier.
Commission rates differ by carrier, by category, and by the state involved. A higher rate can influence which carriers appear more often in our comparisons. We do not edit factual policy information based on a rate, but we are telling you the incentive exists.
We may accept paid advertising or sponsored listings from carriers and related vendors. These can appear as banners, links, or highlighted entries. Sponsored placements are labelled, though the exact treatment can change as the site grows.
We are not owned, operated, or exclusive to any one insurance company. We work with many carriers, which is the only reason we can show you more than one price.
That said, we cannot show you every carrier in the market. The list reflects the relationships we have in place, and it changes as those relationships do.
Because referral income funds the service, it can influence:
Within those limits, we do not adjust policy features, pricing, or coverage terms to favour a paying partner. If a quoted option carries a gap or a drawback, that gets said.
You do not pay us. Revenue arrives from the carriers we introduce you to, never from consumers. There are no hidden fees, no subscription, and no charge for an advisor's time on this site.
Carriers decide pricing and availability, using their own underwriting standards. The inputs they weigh commonly include:
Figures shown during comparison are estimates. A number becomes final only after the carrier receives a full application and completes its review.
Everything on this site exists to help you compare. Sending a request or booking a callback does not bind you to purchase anything, and it does not promise that you will be approved. A contract of insurance exists only when you complete an application with a carrier and that carrier issues a policy.
Carriers join and leave over time, and commission arrangements are renegotiated. When that happens we update this page so the description here keeps matching reality.
Comparison material is a starting point, not a substitute for reading the contract. Review the declarations, the limits, the deductibles, the exclusions, and the price before you commit. Ask questions, compare more than one option, and make sure the wording means what you assumed it meant.
